Past Shows

Playing shows without alcohol is like kissing your sister. That being said, it was a great time at the Epidemic in ultra-mohave-tatooine-barstow-hot Brentwood for Scott's last show. ED appropriately ended the set with Serpent.

CLYST!!! Pound SF again. Took the stage at like 1:15 AM. Premiered Doug's Song. Burp.

September 4, 2004
Holy crap, we haven't played in 15 months?!!! With Panos in Greece, Doug Vetter played bass and threw down vocals. Half the songs were brand new, but one thing stayed the same as always: lots of alcohol-related banalities (sp?) amidst a hurricane of metal from the band playing under the name "The BAVs." Great to be back on stage!

June 21, 2003
Old School metal with Anthrax's Joey Belladonna - man, that guy must have eaten a lot of box in his day! I guess that's why he's so skinny...The crowd also got to hear two new songs from Early Demise.

April 19, 2003
420 Musik Conspiracy at the Pound. Beer, sunshine, and sunglasses. Cool.

March 14, 2003
PHIST California Carnage Tour and demo release party. Despite being a little rushed for time, and despite rumors that Early Demise canceled, and despite being absolutely wasted, the band played well. Happy birthday to Scott. Premiere of Descent of the Serpent.

January 3, 2003
Early Demise welcomed the new year at Rooster's Roadhouse in Alameda. Thanks to Bernie for single-handedly taking over the mosh pit.

December 28, 2002
Despite pouring rains and an outbreak of pneumonia among both band and crew, Early Demise played a tight show at Bourbon Street, opening with "Early Demise." Thanks to those who came out and cheers to Suburban Paranoia for providing some kick-ass metal!

December 8, 2002
The third day of Twisted X ended quite twisted, with Scott Gabriel improvising a drum solo in the middle of SoundSlave. Credit the technical difficulties to our sound crew who had just flown in from San Diego and Dallas, respectively, having assisted the Raiders and 49ers whooping ass to gain first place in their divisions. This show also demonstrated the difficulties involved when attempting to play without proper alcohol consumption.

November 29, 2002
A wild mosh pit highlighted this evening at the Time Out in Concord.

November 8, 2002
Another intoxicating evening featured the premier of the band's latest song, as of yet untitled. Early Demise apologizes for their constant use of the F-word on stage.

October 28, 2002
Metal Monday with Early Demise, Monday Night Football, and $2 Budweisers.

October 5, 2002
A celebration of Brian's birthday at Bourbon Street included a cover of "Black Magic" among other vulgarities.

September 14, 2002
The Lafayette Sports Bar & Grill was taken aback by the onslaught of metal provided by Early Demise and local guests Anabuse. The venue no longer supports heavy music.

June 28, 2002
Early Demise had their first show at the Depot in Concord with Sacramento mates G.L.U.G. Opening with Sonic Detonator, the band rampaged the drunken crowd of mostly friends and family. The venue no longer exists.
